Family Day
Sunday 12. May 2024A spectacular family festival with the apt name FAMILY DAY took place on the grounds in front of Merlin's Farm!
On the main stage, performers performed oriental dances, and snake acts, a fakir bed and dog acrobatics were also interesting. The event was hosted by the media-famous and likeable Czech presenter Petr Kumpfe, who switched between Czech and German with great skill. This was followed by a great soap bubble show and a bird of prey demonstration. Opposite the stage you could see knights on horses, and nearby there was a craft market with demonstrations of everyday activities of our ancestors. The whole time, the magician Aladdin entertained the visitors with his magic and stilt walkers in stylish costumes watched from above. For all those with a sweet tooth, free candy floss and popcorn were available. Anyone who wanted could get face painting or a tattoo. The children were able to have fun on the bouncy castle, ride horses, see a real fire engine and watch a demonstration by the emergency services. Everyone also had the chance to win a prize on the wheel of fortune.
